Shipping Insurance

Your watch is insured, for up to $150,000.

With every order, enjoy coverage for damage and loss at any point during shipment. To accommodate shipments over $150,000, please contact our concierge for a custom quote via armed courier.


This coverage includes a standard limit of $35,000 unless you declare a higher value when checking out.

In-Service Insurance

Our expert watchmakers take the utmost care in preserving and protecting your timepiece.

In the unlikely event your watch is damaged while in our possession, we've got you covered. Your watch is insured for up to $1,000,000 for any repair or replacement at any point in the service process.

Insurance Requirements

Upload photos of your watch

Upon ordering your service, you must submit current photos of your watch to guarantee coverage. Please ensure they are clear and unobstructed for accurate assessment.


Pack in our shipping kit

All watches must be shipped in a WatchCheck provided shipping kit, using the provided label.


Send with FedEx

The shipping kit must be handed directly to an authorized FedEx employee or representative during an at-home pickup, or dropped off at a FedEx Office Print and ShipCenter, or a FedEx Authorized ShipCenter.


Keep your receipt

While sending from a FedEx location, make sure to request a receipt. If your package is being picked up, use our system's tracking for pickup confirmation.


Sign for delivery

When your watch is shipped back to you, please make sure that an adult over 21 years of age will be at the address you submitted to us. FedEx will require an adult's signature upon delivery.

In case of a claim, we consult a network of industry experts to determine your watch's fair market value.

Is there anything that isn't covered by insurance?

WatchCheck does not provide compensation for any damage to the shipping kit that does not affect the watch itself, nor for any financial or other consequences resulting from delayed shipments or services.

Can I use another shipping provider?

No. To be covered under our insurance, all watches must be shipped in a WatchCheck shipping kit using the provided label. This shipping kit must be handed directly to an authorized FedEx employee or representative either through an at home pickup or a drop off at a FedEx Office Print and ShipCenter or a FedEx Authorized ShipCenter

How do I submit an insurance claim?
